This would be his second tour in Utah! He remembered the first time. Couldn't believe it. Children walking alone, 20 sometimes 50 or more, walking to school without any adult supervision! He's thinking, "These people are nuts!" The first day of the assignment. He had ordered a school bus. Wore khaki pants, a purple polo shirt (children love purple for some reason) and black "Sketcher's". Mister school bus driver.
It was amazing! He'd drive up to the numerous of children unguarded walking to school, pull over in the yellow school bus and just say, "Come on? You're being driven to school." The children just got on the bus! No fuss. Took them to the drop-off.
"God damn! There are at least seventy children!? How the hell did you do this by nine o'clock in the morning?!" His superior asked?
He just pointed at the yellow school bus and said,
"Conditioning."...
