I noticed something in her that was hurting. What? I didn't know. But she was my best and only friend. She had always been kind of complexed as far as her emotions were concerned, but today while blazing with her something was off. And I didn't particularly like what I was feeling empathetically. So, with a genuine smile on my face, I asked her straight up, 'Would you come over to me so I can hold you for a while?'
Her face brightened beatifically, "Shit niggah! I thought you'd never ask!"
'Bring your fine ass over here Eve? And let me be imbued with what's happening within your lovely spirit.'
"On my way gorgeous."...
