A Case Study

He was walking down the middle of the sleepy street in his diverse working-class neighborhood. His boys and he had seen the many UPS, FEDEX, Amazon...trucks always going back deep into the closed community. So, they sent him out back here to canvas. "Listen Bro. Walk in the middle of the street and look at each porch. You can see the porches on both sides better if you walk in the middle of the street. Gives you a better angle of what's on their shit! Now, today alone we've clocked at least four muh fuckin trucks goin back there in thah last hour and shit. So just go back there. Check some shit out. Report back. And we'll do the rest. Cool?"

"Okay," he had stated to the less than amiable request. So here he was. Walking in the middle of the street. Already he had clocked some good shit on two houses' porches, and he wasn't even a fourth of the way down thah streets located in the back of the complex. Then a strange thing happened. A car he hadn't noticed was behind him slowly rolling. He thinking to himself, 'Mothah fuckah honk and ah niggah would have gotten out of your way.' Shit, messing with his count. He walked to his left so the car could pass and he stopped so the car could pass. The car though rolled just as slowly up next to him. The man behind the wheel, stopped the vehicle. Rolled down his window, put his cellphone up and took a picture of him multiple times. 'The fuck is this niggah doin?!' Then the driver calmly spoke,

"Young man. I'm an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Officer who happens to live on this very street you are casing. My advice to you young man, is to turn around. Go back where you came from. And don't you ever let me catch you doing this ill stuff again. We straight?"

He was so surprised and caught off guard he just meekly said, "Yes officer."

"Have a very good rest of your day young man."

The cop drove by. He did a ninety degree turn and started quick stepping back where he came from. What was he going to tell the niggahs who sent him to do this shit? The obvious, "Yo Bros! Cops be all back in there. One even stopped and took pictures of me with his cellphone in his cruiser. And told my Black ass he better not see me back there again! Straight up!" He was like, fuck this shit!...

(Peace! More to come...)
