"Listen," he started saying, in a voice he didn't even recognize and it was coming from him. Snot now dripping from his nose, along with the fuckin dreadful water. Then he felt it,
"You may want to step back?" He vomited mostly water of course. But then on the second heave, there was something else, blood! He thought then, no I can't take this too much longer? Once hemoptysis shows or gastritis shows. Somethin's got tah give! He said for some reason, "Hold on!" to his torturers! Coughed hard! Bright red blood all over the dingy floor in front of him.
'Definitely hemoptysis,' he said to himself.
"What?!" One of his torturers asked....
